Can Dogs go out on Craft?
Yes dogs are more than welcome, be aware we have free roaming dogs on site.
Is there an Age Limit?
No we have buoyancy aids to fit all ages, if young people are going out by themselves we restrict how far they can go for safety.
Can I Launch my own Craft?
Yes, during boathouse opening times, there is a £5 launch fee per craft, launch is from the boathouse only and buoyancy aids are mandatory (we also rent those).
Can I Launch When the Boathouse is Closed?
No, the Lake is a privately owned reservoir and contains a nature reserve so is restricted to protect this and for your saftey.
Do I Need to / Can I Book?
No, we run on a first come first served basis. We only take bookings for large groups (10+) or for Archery / Non water based activities.
Are Engines or Motors Allowed?
No, this is a drinking water reservoir and a nature reserve so needs to be kept as clean as possible.
