We here at Bethania do our best to help you create memories that last a lifetime!

It’s that time again folks, the safety boat has come off of the water and we are closed for the season! Unfortunatley this means that there is no access to the lake. This is for everyone’s safety, the weather conditions on the lake can change very quickly and can become very dangerous, not only this but the lake is actually privately owned by Hafren Dyfrdwy. These guys only allow the public to access the water when we are open and the safety boat is on the water.

We would like to extend a massive and hearfelt thankyou to everyone who joined us and everyone who contributed and helped on the 12th August for our sons first birthday charity event. The weather was really not good but we managed to raise over £3000 that was split between Alderhey Childrens Hospital and the Wales Air Ambulance. This was the perfect way to honour the memory of our son Fox. Going forward this will be a yearly event, with a prelimenary date of Sunday August 11th this year. If anyone has any ideas or would like to get involved, help or contribute in any way please do get in touch!

Whilst the boathouse is closed for the winter do contact us if you are interested in any of our off water and other activites such as archery, team building days and raft building. The boathouse will be open again around Easter time but if we have some good weather we may be open sooner this!! We will keep you posted. Thankyou to every one who came to see and support us last year, we can’t wait to see you again when the season starts! Stay safe where ever you go all you crazy winter paddlers!!
